Synopsis

Serving as a foundation to develop regionally relevant educational resources, sustainable practices, and visibility for Australian fine art hand lithography, fellow Chris Hagen pursued skills enrichment and consultation at the Tamarind Institute (Albuquerque, NM USA), initiated shared research with synergistic practitioners, and surveyed Australian representatives to identify priorities within the field. The Fellowship experience highlighted strengths, skills gaps, risks, and opportunities for artists and professional printers, while reinforcing global relationships. This report documents the process and outlines future activities to improve accessibility in the practice.
